Welcome from Remy

I’m sure you’d much rather see a picture of this rather beautiful young lady than read the standard bumph about me, especially given that it should be fairly obvious what I do already…

But I’ve also got Remy to thank for giving me the inspiration to start a dog photography business in the first place. On one of our endless walks along the Brighton seafront, I was trying out a new camera and found myself becoming slightly obsessed with trying to capture the different aspects of her personality - and assuming you’re a dog-lover yourself, you’ll know just how rich their personalities can be.

If you’re interested, I’ve written a blog about that first foray into pet photography (click here), but suffice to say it wasn’t too long before we swapped the seafront for the studio, where I became utterly hooked by the challenge of trying to capture something of the unique personalities of our furry friends, and the idea for Barking Mad Photography was born.
